Final Stretch: UI Design in Figma

In these last few days leading up to our final submission, I've been fully immersed in designing "EcoDrive's" UI in Figma. My goal is to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface that enhances the gaming experience.

Creating the Diner

Post-pitch, I shifted focus to designing the diner in Maya. This key in-game location is where drivers take breaks, and I'm working to ensure it's both welcoming and practical.

Game Pitch: A Milestone Achievement

Our game pitch showcased about 90% of the game design. The positive feedback was a testament to our hard work and the utility of the Unreal City sample in bringing our game to life.

Presentation Day: A Resounding Success

We presented our progress to our professors, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Their appreciation for our design and concept was incredibly affirming.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

My teammate has been instrumental in character modeling and creating other assets like trashcans and dustbins. Their contributions are adding layers of depth and realism to "EcoDrive."

Discovering Unreal City Sample

We discovered the Unreal City sample, which offers a New York City-level map complete with NPCs and cars. It's a game-changer for us, and I spent the day integrating our project with this incredible resource in Unreal Engine.
